  1. Hi,

I purchased wpml 2 years in a row, (2021 and 2022) but skipped last year. I would like to purchase it again. Is there a discount for returning clients?

    Thanks

    • Hello, unfortunately our 25% discount applies only to clients who pay for the renewals without a break. You need to pay the full price again. You can log into your existing account and then purchase if you would like to keep the same email address.

  2. hey if my subscription expired and i stopped using the site but i have one site i’ll start translating it and transfer the renewal to client would it be working fine also i register this site with domain name and then change it to new one and unregister it from the old one but every time i translate it its give me this message

WPML has detected a change in your site’s URL. To continue translating your site, go to your WordPress Dashboard and tell WPML if your site has been moved or copied.” but I’ve already changed it from the wordpress dashboard and account site wpml, and each time I make a change, it reappears without changing anything.

  3. Hey Team,

May i know if WPML is working with Eventer plugin also it translate all the existing custom filed with that or not?

for every field should we get all multi language setup or we need to create it customized?

    thanks

    • Hello, do you mean this plugin: https://codecanyon.net/item/eventer-wordpress-event-manager-plugin/20972534
Officially we are not compatible with it because it wasn’t tested by our Compatibility Team but when visiting this page I can see the authors did a lot to make it compatible so there is a good chance that it will work with WPML. But we don’t have any documentation available for this plugin on how to set up the fields. You can give it a try and buy WPML keeping our refund policy in mind that allows you to test WPML for 30 days.

  4. Hello! I believe I purchased this plugin a week and a half ago, but now I can’t log in to see the license key and it says my email is not found. Could someone please help me access my account?

    • Hello Annette,
I have searched in our system but haven’t found any transactions with your domain name, or any other transaction of this month including the key words in your domain name. Do you have the payment receipt or the confirmation from PayPal or your credit card?
Can you please send me the details of the purchase to hello@wpml.org?

      Thanks!

  7. Hi. I’m looking into best package to translate my new business website either plan of multilingual CMS (Є99/year) or pay as you go. We’re planning to translate across more than 10 languages in total.

Please advise us for these two options pro and cons. Kindly advise.

    • Translating to 10 languages will consume a lot of translations credits so it’s better to use the Pay-as-you-go option. I would recommend you to add one or two languages at first, finish configuring your site to make sure everything has been translated and only after add more languages.

    • Hello,
the Multilingual plugin costed 99 euros last week too. 79 dollars is the price for our existing users who continue using WPML after the first year (we give them 25% discount). Please make sure you are log in and check the price again.

  8. Hello Agnes,

I have a very large site, with around 1800 uploaded articles, and I was wondering if the Multilingual Agency plan can help me translate everything on the site. I’m not clear on what ‘180,000 translation credits’ are, and if they run out, how do I get them back? Thank you for your reply.

    Best regards!

  9. Hello,
is WPML compatible with this knowledge base plugin (echo knowledge base: https://www.echoknowledgebase.com/)
I would like to implement a multilingual knowledge base by using WPML and smartcat with this plugin. But Smartcat only works if the plugin is compatible with WPML and WPML String Translation.
Could you give me more information?

  10. We have several WPML plugins that are outdated on our site rocktroute.com. We are looking for previous account access but were unsuccessful in locating the correct @rocketroute.com email. Is this something you can assist with? Thx!

  11. In the WPML Multilingual CMS package it notes 3 production and 9 development websites. I just wanted to confirm if all the websites have to be under the same domain or if I can use one iteration of production for abc.com and one of production for xyz.org or if all three must be used under abc.com domain.

    Thank you!

    • Hello,
each site key is meant for a different domain. For example, if you have two websites, one using abc.com, another one using xyz.org you will use 2 of the 3 key production slots we give you.

  12. Hi, if I choose for pay-as-you-go option, do we need to pay it in monthly basis?

For example: 10,000 words to translate into 2 language = €25.00 EUR.

So, we need to pay this €25.00 EUR every month to able the translated webs intact?
Do we pay this amount and able to use the plug in for our website or still have any other price?

    • Hello,
if you use the pay-as-you-go option you pay only if you have something new to translate. If you nothing has changed on your site since you last translated it, you won’t need to translate anything and you won’t pay anything. If you change only a few sentences on a page that was already translated, you will pay (use translation credits) only for the sentences that have changed. In practice, this means that you might use the most translation credits in the beginning and fewer or zero later. Please note that you will get 90 000 credits in the package when buying WPML. Also, if you sign up for pay-as-you-go the first 2000 credits (1000 words) will be translated for free.

  13. ‘if you use the pay-as-you-go option you pay only if you have something new to translate. My question : So does that mean if i go with pay-as-you-go option, and I’ve translated all my website content in October while being charged at certain amount of money. And then, in November and December, there is nothing changed in my website, I’ll pay nothing in November and December, while my translation plug in will always be there in my website? If i choose to not change anything in one year, does it mean my website will still be there with this translation option for the same for one year? Am I get this correctly?

But if I go with buying WPML with the 90,000 credits, how can I add up the credits as I need more credits to translate in various language. How much will it cost, and what will be the reoccurance payment for this additional credits?

    • You are correct, if you’ve translated all your website content in October and you don’t change anything in November and December you won’t be charged. Yes, the translations will stay in your website even if you unsubscribe from pay-as-you-go. Actually the translations will stay in your website even if you don’t renew your WPML subscription. But you need to keep the WPML plugin installed to see the translations.
If you run out of the 90 000 credits you received in the package, you have two options to acquire translation credits:
      1) sign up for pay-as-you-go (which is cheaper)
      2) buy pre-paid credits
Both options are described in detail on this page:
      https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatic-translation-pricing/
On the same page you will find a calculator that allows you to estimate how much you will pay depending on the number of languages you translate to and the number of words:
      https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatic-translation-pricing/#how-automatic-translation-works
The Pay-as-you-go is not a recurring payment for this additional credits – you are getting monthly invoice but you pay only if you translated something within a given month. So if you didn’t translate anything (or you used less than 2000 credits), the invoice will show zero.

  14. HI, I’m using the wpml free version, I want to use Automatic translation of content for other countries, I have used classic editor custom fields on my pages, but now when I try to translate content, only classic editor text is recognized by the translator, but not the custom fields in that page, I have even enabled custom field option wpml setting, please help us to resolve the issue, we will by the credits once you confirm the solution.

    • Hello,
thank you for your questions but I’m confused with your comments. You say you use the free WPML version but WPML doesn’t have a free version. It’s a paid plugin. What do you mean that you use a free version?

If you have issues with setting up ACF fields, you can follow this documentation: https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/translate-sites-built-with-acf/

We cannot confirm any solution by reading a comment that was posted in the pre-sale ssection. For technical issues we have an officialsupport forum: https://wpml.org/forums/forum/english-support/

To contact our support forum and get some personalised assistance you need to have a valid WPML subscription. I can see that the website you provided when posting the comment was registered by a user who has the Lifetime account at wpml.org. This means that this person can contact our support. If you would like to be in touch with our support team, you have the following options:
      1) you can buy WPML with your own email (in this case, you would need to unregister your site and register it again with your key. You don’t need to reinstall WPML)
      2) you can ask the person who registered your site to transfer payments to you:
      https://wpml.org/purchase/transferring-account-renewals-to-your-clients/

  15. Hi,

We would like to implement WPML on our website.

But as an NGO, we are a slight different purchase process. We need some informations to fill a supplier form then proceed to the payment.

Can we get in touch with a sales representative to help us with this matter ?

    Thank you very much.

    Asad

  16. We’re interested in the Multilingual CMS plan and we’re comparing against other services.

It says it includes 90,000 credits. If I’m translating into 2 languages, does that mean we can translate 11,250 words? Also, do these credits renew every year? So every year we’ll have another 11,250 words to translate?

Another question, will we have to separately get an API key from DeepL or Google? Or will you guys take care of that?

We’re considering getting this today, so your prompt response is appreciated.

  17. Hello,

I would like to know about the plans for two separete wordpress workspaces.
In my case, I have two websites, one with the main domain and the other is on one subdomain, but these websites works in separete wordpress accounts.

Do I need to purchase two plans or can I just buy one license?

    Thanks,
    Pedro

    • Hello,
the Multilingual CMS package allow you to register 3 websites. You don’t need to buy separate licensees for each of your sites.

  18. Hi,
    1. We need to translate text Automatically with credits but when we try to translate the page, only the content in the classic text editor is getting translated but not the custom field which we created using the classic editor plugin as our site pages are component based. ( send screenshot possible )

    2. When establishing a website for a specific country like Indonesia with localized content, one might aim for a structure where the local language is represented by a domain/id URL, and the English version is accessible via domain/id/en. While we were creaitng a new language version, the system did not permit using “id/en” as a slug. Instead, it might use “id-en” for the new language.

Could you please validate if the mentioned functionalities can be achieved using the plugin? Additionally, if we decide to purchase the plugin primarily for the support it offers, we’d like to confirm the availability of a one-month money-back guarantee.
    11:05
Or if you can provide demo login details

    Thank you.

    • Hello,
      1.
you say “only the content in the classic text editor is getting translated” you use the present form “is”. Does it mean, you already use WPML? Or you are referring to another multilingual plugin? Please clarify, I’m confused. If you use the classic WordPress editor, you can still translate the content using WPML. WPML can translate custom fields too. If you use ACF custom fields (Advance Custom Fields plugin) you need to follow this page to properly set up WPML: https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/translate-sites-built-with-acf/
      2. Which system? WPML? If so, please use WPML technical support link to get help with this topic: https://wpml.org/forums/forum/english-support/ You need to have a valid WPML subscription to open a new ticket. I cannot help with technical issues such as “the system did not permit using “id/en” as a slug” here within pre-sales questions.
      3. Yes, we provide one-month money-back guarantee for any new users. Please buy WPML, then use our support forum for any technical questions and if you are not happy with the product, you can request a refund within 30 days by filling out the form: https://wpml.org/purchase/refunds/

  19. Hello, I want to buy this plugin but first I need to know if plugin has the option to leave blank a part of the text. For example if we don’t want to translate one row of text in the place of unwanted text to translate, I don’t want to show anything?!

    • Hello,
      you can consider two options:
      1) If you plan to use automatic translation, you can use the merge feature to merge adjacent paragraphs and this way to can skip part of the new text block
      2) You can switch off (disable) the WPML Advanced Translation Editor for specific pages and then you translate the page independently providing any content you want but in this case you can translate only manually
